Welcome to
Clifton Heights
OUR COMMUNITY
Clifton Heights is a neighborhood two miles east of downtown Louisville, Kentucky USA. It was named because of its hilly location atop a ridge about 100 feet above the Ohio River floodplain, overlooking the adjacent community of Clifton. Though first planned in the 1890s as Summit Park, actual growth didn't begin until after World War I when automobiles made the hilly area accessible. Housing stock includes a variety of styles and time frames, from older shotgun houses and bungalows to suburban ranch homes built in the 1970s.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to bridge the gap between residents and the community, fostering a strong connection with the metro government. We strive to keep our residents informed about local events and initiatives through our active social media presence, (follow us on Instagram!) and host our own local cleanups. By maintaining strong relationships with our city council representatives for Districts 4 and 9, we facilitate communication and provide vital resources to empower our community. Together, we are dedicated to enhancing civic engagement and ensuring that every resident feels connected and informed.
